First things first. Have you ever been in a conversation where people start talking the latest politics/climate change news/sports/popstar gossip and think, What the heck are they talking about? Me too...until I discovered The Skimm

Each weekday you're sent an email that you can quickly read {seriously, you can read it in under three minutes} that will keep you informed on the most important topics of the day. They always link the stories to longer articles that you can dig deeper into. Now you won't be the only person clueless about what's going on in the world.

If you're more interested in the business side of news, make sure to check out Morning Brew. I just discovered it and it's basically the same concept as The Skimm but it's your daily fix of everything business.

Now, being a new mom, I do not have time for anything extra in my days. When I saw over on Instagram this Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer & Volumizer, I kinda thought it was too good to be true.

You guys...IT IS NOT too good to be true! It legitimately dries your hair & styles it at the same time! I have a ton of thick hair and it usually takes me 10-15 minutes to dry my hair and at least 5+ minutes to flat iron it.

Using this magical tool it took me 10 minutes total the very first time I used it.

Need proof that it works? Check out the text my friend sent me!

This is a morning routine game-changer for sure!

I'm a HUGE reader. Now let's be clear, I'm not reading the latest and greatest non-fiction or any other heavy-duty books at this point. My attention span is quite short these days so I tend to read a whole lotta fluff that just makes me feel good!

{Full disclosure: even without a baby at home, I don't read those heavy books either - ha!}

Lately, I've spent the time that Luke goes down for his morning nap catching up on reading.  I read More Than Words by Jill Santopolo and it was excellent. If you haven't read her first novel, The Light We Lost, you MUST! It was incredible!

And, I try to sneak in a few pages at night...even when he's snoozing next to me! Thank goodness for book lights. I love this one because it has three different light settings.  I am just finishing up One Day in December {which I got through Book of the Month...MONTHS ago!} I've enjoyed it so I'm not totally sure why it's taking me so long to get through!

I am obsessed with these new personalized bracelets! I ordered them on Etsy from this darling shop. They shipped super-duper fast and I just adore them!

The best part? They're totally affordable! Can't wait to add more!

Just in time for the BEST holiday, I'm sharing my mom's Irish Soda Bread recipe! Go check it out! It will take a little over an hour from start to finish!
