November is a month of being thankful and reflecting on the people, events, and things that bring us joy.
In our crazy busy life, it's so easy to forget to be thankful for the everyday things that bring us comfort, happiness, and peace of mind. A working heater? Groceries in the fridge? A simple kiss goodnight? I often take these things for granted. Even small things like good weather and clean underwear I take for granted some days!
So this month, I'm focusing on gratitude - of big and small things.
I've set up Jar of Thanks in our kitchen. Each day, I plan to add a strip {and encourage JB to do one, too!} I will add one thing I'm grateful for. Perhaps it'll be that Luke slept 12 hours straight or that I had extra time to read that day. Or, maybe it'll be that our laundry pile has shrunk to just one load {wishful thinking, I know!}
{Can you see that even Luke got in on the action!?}
