Five Faves on the Fifteenth {June 2019}

Saturday, June 15, 2019
I completely missed writing my post in May because Luke had surgery. He's on the mend now but my head was in many other places at the time!

But, I'm back with some new faves for the month of June...just in time for Summer!

I am not a huge TV watcher.  Like everyone, I have limited time and I'd honestly rather spend my time reading! However, occasionally I need to zone out and just watch the ol' boob tube.

One of my favorite shows to watch is Grace & Frankie on Netflix. It's hysterical and I can only hope to be as hip and fun as those two are at 80!

As I've gotten older, I've tried to be more mindful of the goops, potions, and lotions I'm putting on my body. A little over a year ago I started using Native Deodorant.
Basically, their tag line sums it up: "Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live."

I LOVE the Coconut & Vanilla Deodorant and I recently purchased their Body Wash in the same scent. SO good. You get out of the shower feeling like you just stepped off the beach in Hawaii...without all the sand :)

I've got JB hooked on their Mint Toothpaste, too!

If you use the code HEALTH10 you'll get an extra 10% off your first order!

Summer Reading! Now that it's Summer Time...I have more time to read. Okay, well not as much time as I used to have before Luke, but still more time than during the craziness of the other three seasons!

I wrote a list of what I'm planning to read this summer and my recommendations for what you should read, too! Go check it out

I am obsessed with these adorable bookends my niece gave me for Mother's Day! I love that they are handmade by a pair of sisters. They're a nice sturdy set and are perfect on our farmhouse shelves

I grew up playing games all summer long with my Grandpa, Dad, sister, and cousins. We played more card games than I can count at the game table and on the outside porch of my grandparents' summer house.

My sister's kids are getting old enough that we can finally start playing games that we can all enjoy {not that Chutes and Ladders isn't fun!} Our current favorites are 5 Second Rule and Bananagrams. And I'm super pumped that they now make a 5 Second Rule Jr. so when Luke starts talking...game on, buddy!
